Jammu Kashmir - Paradise of Earth

The state has three distinct regions, each full of extraordinary beauty. The high altitude desert of Ladakh lies among forbidding mountain ranges, a landscape as stark as the moon. Lower down is the enchanting verdant valley of Kashmir, where the visitor might well believe himself in Paradise. The southern most part, Jammu, is the most varied. There is much natural beauty in its forest clad hills, but also barren terrain, as the mountains finally give way to the plains of the subcontinent

Cities - Sreenager:

An ideal place from which to begin a holiday in Kashmir, Srinagar derives it's charm from its lakes, waterways and its beautiful gardens. aA visit ti Srinager is incomplete without a stay on a houseboaat from which to enjoy Kashmir's aquatic culture. Floating gardens slide past as in an exotic fantasy. Tree centuries the environs of Srinager with gardens. Today these still grace the city, elegantly formal and beautiful
